They've been mentioned on the list. I have no idea whether they've been 
actually integrated or not -- I'm using my own branch at this point.

With material support, I think they mean that they didn't want to hook 
up the geoms to some system they have to determine surface properties.
I believe the integration of ODE was a proof of concept, not an attempt 
to create something that's full-featured and as good as it can be.
