[ODE] configurator

i've modified configurator.c to generate .cpp test programs instead of
.c's. this fixes the problem related to configurator erronously
detecting that sinf() and friends don't exist on VC. i've no idea why C
programs can't access sinf() etc in VC, i'm sure that there is a reason
that Makes Perfect Sense. anyway, this will make no difference to
windows users who use the VC6 project files, but it means my binary
distribution scripts will work better.
