[ODE] dJointCreatePlane2D plus other joints

Hi! 

I need to contrain the physics of a simulation along a vertical plane, but several objects will have other joints conecting them. 

May I use dJointCreatePlane2D combine with other joint types? 

I just have to create the dJointCreatePlane2D joint, connect it to the bodies and forget it, or I must do some maintenance during the simulation?
