[ODE] trimesh

Hi,
 
I have a question about trimesh:
 
I have a 3D studio mesh witch contains 2 subsets, subsets are not vertices
connected (for exemple 1 computer tower and 1 screen display)
In my simulation, the two meshs cannot move separately.
 
quesrtion : In ODE, is it better to create one trimesh geom witch contains
the two subsets ? or is it better to create two geoms (one for each subset)
?
