[ODE] How to connect a link to the ground with 2 DOF?

Hi, all.

I am just beginning to try to use ODE in my study.

Now, I want to test 2-DOF link. But I found that if you connect the link
to the environment by a hinge2 joint, the program will collapse with a
segmentation fault. It seems that environment can not be attached to a
hinge2.

Does anyone have advice on how to deal with 2-DOF and 3-DOF link? The
background is that I want to implement a human character animation
controller.
