[ODE] Proposal: ODE "unstable"

I agree.  I've made lots of changes to ode since I've started using it, 
but I've given up submitting patches of each one.

For instance, I added the the "side1, side2" triangle index feature that 
was mentioned a while ago, and while I did so, I noticed a small 
existing bug where in one of the colliders, g1 & g2 are incorrectly 
swapped around.  I can't really make up a patch for this though since 
I've previously modified ode to support geoms with offsets (also an old 
topic), and separating out these changes is more trouble than its 
worth.  If the patch file is never going to be used, why make one up at all?

In short, a more open alternative repository would be useful!
