I think this would be highly beneficial to people (such as myself) that
are doing tests to see what physics engine they would like to use on a
project. I wouldn't want to spend loads of time writing a graphics
library, if I'm already using a 3rd-party API. At this point in time,
I'm only interested in how ODE performs, and do not want to have to
worry about the stability or functionality of my own graphics API.
If you're able to get a Windows port working, I wouldn't mind taking a
look at it.

I agree, I didn't mean that ODE developers should now make a graphics
library. I
thought of interested ODE users, like me...

I didn't know any ode wrappers for cross-platform graphics libraries.

True. I guess the only argument in favor of Picasso is, that it is small
(about
the same size as Drawstuff), i.e. good for people that know GLUT and
don't want
to spend a lot of time learning a new graphics library.
