[ODE] Starting off question

DLL is better in the sense that you can separately build/release your ODE stuff from your actual project stuff. Even if you make your own copy of ODE for your own source control (always recommended) this seems to be the most insulated way to go.

What method would you recommend for using the library?  Compiling it 
into a DLL and loading it at run time, or compiling ODE into the project 
its self?

It seems as a team, we're having more problems conceptualizing how to 
get started with ODE than we are actually using it :/
