[ODE] ODE in Visual Studio 2003

I tried that once at work before going to lunch. Right before I went 
home for dinner, it ground to a halt with a segmentation violation. 
Since that experience, I instinctively stay away from the auto-
conversion feature, probably out of superstition.

Point being: there are several fast and easy ways to get ODE working 
in the typical compilers.
