[ODE] standard file format for architecture descriptions?

There has been some talk of creating a 'standard' file format, but no real
progress (e.g. working code). There are a couple of working applications
that do create files (my project, Juice, is one of them), but I don't know
of any effort to create a standard library for loading and saving ODE
objects.
