[ODE] TriangleMesh hell

i´m just trying to compile and see the trimesh example working. but when i press the keys to release the geons they just fall and dont collide with the tri-mesh. Ok..i know i have to compile the CVS version  of ODE. i have just a few questions:
does the CVS version works to box, cylinder and spheres? Can the example work with that version.
what version of OPCODE should i use with?
