Hi,
I know ODE is great for advanced rigid body simulations, and we'd love =
to be doing that in our game. Unfortunately, one of our main problems is =
a lackluster collision/response system for the player. We have the =
standard problems with catching edges, handling collisions at low =
framerates, sliding along complex creases, and stepping up on "stairs" =
in our _tri soup_ world. Can ODE(+triCollider+OPCODE) provide a full =
solution to these issues and replace our core system?=20
It's really going to take a lot out of us to rewrite our player =
collision/physics again, and I'd love an alternate solution. We're =
already drooling over what else ODE can bring us.
