[ODE] Using ODE with Direct3D

I've been having some trouble using the rotation matrix returned by dGeomGetRotation to rotate a mesh in DirectX. I've seen on different sites that sometimes you need to invert the matrix before you use it, but I've tried that to no avail. Perhaps someone out there knows what I should do, if anything, to use this matrix with DirectX.
