MSU> I am in school, and we have an active firewall, so I thought that might have been it, but my NetOpsCtr tells me port 2401 is open.  Who is actively refusing here; sourceforge, or me?

        IMHO, you can only use CVS over a firewall by using
        SSH. You can get more info on http://www.wincvs.org/
