I'm using Fastcar and it is great. I'm using ode too, but I'm having problems trying to integrate with DirectX.

how does ODE compare to other simulation libraries for doing vehicle
physics? i've been looking into FastCar:
http://www.oxforddynamics.co.uk/
which focuses specifically on vehicle physics. it isn't free, and it isn't
open source, but you can download it and check it out. it seems to be very
good.
anyone have experience simulating vehicles with other libraries? i'd love
to hear some opinions.
thanks,
-Mr. Pants
