So you have a bunch of springs, and all you want is a stable system (no
bodies moving, all spring forces neutralized). You don't need body
dynamics for that; you probably need an ODE solver (not the Open
Dynamics Engine, but Ordinary Differential Equations).

The guys at http://www.physicsforums.com/ should be able to help you
modeling it; then you just run the ODE solver to give you the answer.
