[ODE] Trouble compiling on ia64

Just to let you know that when I try to compile on an ia64 itanium  
system running linux I get the following errors on the shared library:

/usr/bin/ld: libode_a-collision_trimesh_ccylinder.o: @gprel  
relocation against dynamic symbol gCylinder
/usr/bin/ld: libode_a-collision_trimesh_ccylinder.o: @gprel  
relocation against dynamic symbol gTriMesh
/usr/bin/ld: final link failed: Nonrepresentable section on output
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

The static library builds OK and my application runs with no trouble  
(but then I'm not using trimeshes).
