[ODE] How to calculate X, Y, Z Euler rotation angles from 3d vector direction?

I'm implementing hinge joint in map editor and need to rotate cylinder 
(representing the joint) according to hinge axis direction. But I need 
X, Y, Z Euler rotation angles to rotate the cylinder. Any ideas?
