[ODE] ODE from svn on Ubuntu Dapper

Hi again,
I've tried to make ODE on Ubuntu Dapper (installed from a daily build
about 2 weeks ago).  First thing to note about it is that for some
reason, the default aclocal and automake are version 1.4, so I had to
redireect those calls to version 1.9.

Second, there is a fairly big issue with the X11 path on this verison
of Ubuntu.  It uses X11R7, not X11R6.  All of the header file for X
are now in /usr/include/X11 and NOT /usr/X11R6 as used to be the case.
 Make failed on me bacuse of this.
