[ODE] ray changes from 0.5 to 0.6

Yeah, I did that and fixed the problem. I did not write this code and am
trying to learn ODE while going through this code. I'm not sure what they
had in mind with the original code. Thanks for the help. It now works
fine with ode 0.6.
