NOTES on the snapshot:

This is a snapshot of the UNSTABLE tree of the CVS repository.
It has been testen on GNU/Debian IA32.
For UNIX platforms, use the configure interface.
I recommend:
$ ./configure --prefix=$HOME --with-opcode --with-cylinder --with-double-precision
For windows platforms, see INSTALL file.
