I found I can't set the torques for the ball joint either. I tried
adding an angular motor to the ball joint. I now can set the torques,
but can't get the current angles. I think I'm going back to the
universal joint (get the angles and set the torques without problems)
and add a hinge joint length-wise, somewhere halfway in the next
object, for the 3rd axes.
