Thanks to yours answers I think I understand where the problem is...

Now I understand what Erin Catto means saying about "constant acceleration".
But, If I'm correct, proper modeling of contact (penetration restoring) forces (varying acceleration) leads to
bad modeling of constant forces (for example gravity) - or I should rather say: less good

in the sense that it correctly implements implicit integration, which
favors stability over accuracy"
