[ODE] Force of impact question.

I'm going to need to extract the force at which a pair of objects
has impacted - not too difficult with spheres, where I can just
look at how close together they are and get an approximation that
isn't _too_ bad. I use this info to play a sound appropriate to
the energy involved in the impact. Most of the time, this method
works, but there are still too many instances where a soft sound
is played where two spheres just wholloped into each other.

Any ideas out there? I have a couple more thoughts, but don't
want to kill too much time if there is a 'known' best practice.

	thanks...

P.S. Anyone going to be at G.A.M.E. this weekend?
