[ODE] Are there any plans for supporting Convex hull collision for trimesh data?

I was going through the demos of Newton physics and they are showing off
mesh mesh collisions using convex hulls. It is very fast, very accurate and
works for most meshes. Can we do something like this with ODE. I'm pretty
sure it will be much more stable than the current Trimesh Trimesh collision
and should work really well for most cases.
