[ODE] Proposal: ODE "unstable"

I agree with you 100% !! I have the same problem. I want to use some of the
patches, but it
takes forever to add them to the main branch. Lets try to use an
evolutionary approach to developing
the lib. Small cycles where changes get integrated and tested
immediately.... In the long run
that approach is much more effective.
