[ODE] Active X wrapper?

Hi folks,

i don't suppose anyone knows of an ActiveX (or other non-java) wrapper for
ODE? I want to do some VB prototyping (as a proof of pudding) before getting
into the C++ side of things. Or maybe something like an ODE server that can
sit and sim a world environment step by step that you can communicate with
(remotely programme basically) via TCP or SOAP or something and call its
functions from a non c/c++ environment...
