[ODE] Boiling effect

Hi!

I know that boxes have only one contact point for box to box collision.
But I have a strange effect which occurrs also on a plane: I create
some boxes which ly on a plane. Suddenly they begin to shake. They only
shake occasionally and sometimes they seem to be stable. And one thing
is weird: They calm down when I create a car which I set on the plane.
Any idea what this could be?
