Frank, i'm trying to implement a double wishbone suspension, something like this:

// A mounting point is a fixed point that fix a damper termination.
//
// ___ <- damper and spring mouting point
// damper->   \      _____
//  		   \    |     |
//  wishbone1-> ===||     |  <- wheel
//	           \ ||     |
//  wishbone2-> ===||     |
//			  |_____|
//                 ^
//                 |
//   wheel plate __|
//
//

You can see this in action in a demo from www.cersoft.com
the link is http://www.cersoft.com/Content/dynamics/demo/odeDemo.zip
This guy(s) implemmented a suspension like a said above.

Regards.

Hi.

I think I am probably messing around trying to understand the best way
to implement a suspension for a ground vehicle. What's the best way to
implement for example a McPherson suspension, i.e. something like that

              \    Car Body
               O
Wheel         / \
             ==  \
/++++\      ==    \
|    |     ==      \
|    |    /         \
|    |===O===========O
|    |                \_____
|    |
|    |
\++++/

Thanks, for any help.

Frank Schaefer.
